How to make the blue areas Invisible by MenZa
In this tutorial, you will be taught, how to make the blue areas on textures with e.g. fences, air-ducts and so on, and so fourth, invisible. Here’s a map with the needed entity’s like T-Spawn (info_player_deathmatch), CT-Spawn (info_player_start), light, and a fence to fence it from everything else. But if you just run it this way, the blue areas will be black in-game, and that really, really sucks. If you’re looking for a way to do it with ladders, check egir’s ladder-tutorial

Ok. You may have noticed those blue areas on the fence. Let’s remove those, shall we?

To enter "Object Properties", click on one of the fences, and press CTRL+T to tie it to an entity.
Choose "func_wall".
Render mode should be "Solid". FX Amount should be "255". Repeat this step with all the fences.

Looks a little lame. I know. But try Running the map, remember to choose “Expert” and Half-life Counter-strike (FULL) From the Menu. For more info, check Egir’s How to make mapsTutorial. And btw, remember to make a sky area around it. You can find a tutorial for that, Here. Or else, it’ll just report a leak.
